¿Qué es Eilean Mór?

Eilean Mór es un micro juego de rol minimalista de exploración, investigación y diario en solitario que cabe en una carta de póker. En Eilean Mór el jugador interpretará al jefe de fareros que visita una isla, Eilean Mór, llevando con el algunos suministros y el equipo de hombres de reemplazo de los fareros de la misma. Sin embargo, la isla parecerá desierta y será necesario investigar el suceso, para tratar de descubrir que ha sucedido con los guardianes del faro desaparecidos y poder así emitir el informe pertinente a las autoridades portuarias.

Eilean Mór representa una experiencia intimista, misteriosa y cautivadora, donde la creatividad, la imaginación e incluso lo sobrenatural, impulsarán la escritura de las entradas de un diario destinado a recoger todos los datos posibles sobre el caso así como las propias sensaciones, impresiones y teorías del propio jugador.

¿Qué necesitas para jugar?

El juego se desarrolla  a través de la exploración y la investigación de escenas imaginarias y escribiendo  entradas en un diario, por lo que necesitarás para jugar contar con una libreta o cuaderno y algo con lo que escribir. La duración media de una partida es de 1-2 horas. Es posible jugar al juego en grupo si se opta por hacerlo, pero será necesario realizar algunos ajustes y decidir quién será la persona encargada de escribir el diario.

Eilean Mór se presenta en un único PDF que contiene las dos caras de una carta (tamaño estándar de póker o Magic) conteniendo una breve introducción y las reglas. El juego está en español y esperamos poder traducirlo en breve al inglés.

Eilean Mór is a minimalist solo exploration, investigation, and journaling micro RPG that fits on a poker card. In Eilean Mór the player will play as the chief lighthouse keeper who visits an island, Eilean Mór, bringing with him some supplies and a team of relieve men for the island's lighthouse keepers. However, the place will appear deserted and it will be necessary to investigate the event in order to discover what has happened with the missing lighthouse keepers and thus be able to write a file report to the port authorities.

Play Eilean Mór is an intimate, mysterious and captivating experience, where creativity, imagination and even the supernatural will drive the writing of a journal intended to collect all possible data and clues about the case, as well as the sensations, ideas and theories of the player himself.

What do you need to play?

The game is developed through exploration, investigation of imaginary locations and the writing of a journal, so in order to play you will need to have a notebook, some paper or similar and something to write with. The average duration of a game is about 1-2 hours. It is possible to play the game with a group of people if you choose to do so, but you will need to make some adjustments and decide who will be the person in charge of writing the journal.

Eilean Mór is a single PDF. Inside this document you will find both sides of a card (standard poker or Magic size) containing a brief introduction to the game and the rules. The game is in Spanish and we hope to be able to translate it into English soon.
